NPD within the brand’s strategic frameworkKoninklijke Verkade N.V. is a subsidiary of United Biscuits, an international manufacturer of biscuits and snacks. The brands Verkade and Sultana have initiated an NPD project for future growth. Within this project, the ambition is to develop products that not only will increase revenues but will also fit with the (new) brand strategies of both important brands. The SIT method was selected, as it offers a totally different basis for innovation than other tools the marketing team has used in the past.
