B2B: supplier-led innovation for key clients

Sensus markets inuline (an ingredient which can be used to replace certain fats and fibers). Sales are good, the business model of the past years has brought good results, but not yet enough. Sensus is now looking to give its Sensus inuline a boost in the market. One of the main points in the agenda is to have a more thought-through approach to the market/buyers. In order to set that thought process in motion, a brainstorm session was organized. The current project was directly targeted towards a renowned ice-cream manufacturer, owner of A-brands. It is the intention of the brainstorm session to surprise the buyer (the ice-cream manufacturer) with new ice-cream concepts for the end consumer.

Participants’ feedback: This is much better than ‘brainstorming’ (lots of ideas but few of them achievable). Fun to do, with serious results. Very well prepared session with a clearly experienced facilitator. The methodology was interesting and effective. It works both in the depth and the breadth of such a multifunctional group.

Project leader’s feedback: Surprising results. By developing ideas through to an illustration, an extra dimension was created. Very inspiring for a broad group of participants who clearly enjoyed themselves.
